Tata Motors Demerger – New Listing in BSE Indices

BSE has announced an important update regarding Tata Motors Limited (TATAMOTORS – 500570) following its recent demerger.

A Special Pre-Open Session (SPOS) will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to facilitate price discovery for Tata Motors post-demerger.

As part of this arrangement, the newly formed entity — TML Commercial Vehicles Limited — will officially be added to several BSE indices from Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at a zero price, after the close of trading on Monday, October 13, 2025.

This means that starting October 14, 2025, TML Commercial Vehicles Limited will become part of key indices such as:

• BSE SENSEX

• BSE 100, BSE 200, BSE 500

• BSE AUTO, BSE LARGECAP, BSE INDIA MANUFACTURING INDEX

• BSE SENSEX 50, BSE 100 ESG INDEX, BSE ENHANCED VALUE INDEX

• and many others including BSE 1000, BSE PREMIUM CONSUMPTION, BSE SELECT BUSINESS GROUPS, and BSE INDIA 150.

   

This inclusion reflects the realignment of Tata Motors’ businesses after the demerger, separating its passenger and commercial vehicle segments.
