Live Trading Session from NSE Disaster Recovery (DR) Site

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be conducting live trading sessions from its Disaster Recovery (DR) site. This exercise is part of the exchange’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework to ensure smooth functioning of markets in case of any unforeseen events.

Here is the schedule you need to note:

  • September 18 to 19, 2025: Live trading will be conducted from the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. Market timings will remain as per normal schedule.
  • September 22, 2025: Live trading will resume from the Primary site.

During this DR site live session, all orders from colocation will be routed from the main site to the BCP/DR site. Similarly, market data dissemination will also flow from the DR site back to the main site colocation racks.

This activity will not impact your trading experience, and all systems will function as usual. The purpose of this drill is to strengthen market resilience and ensure uninterrupted services under all circumstances.
