- In the year 2001, they acquired German Remedies which was the largest M&A in the Indian Pharmaceutical sector and in the same year, they entered into a joint venture with US based Onconova for collaborative research in the field of Oncogenomics
- In April 2002, the Company acquired Banyan Chemicals, a Vadodara based company with the US FDA approved plant
- In the year 2003, German Remedies, Recon Healthcare, Zoom Properties and Zydus Pathline merged with the company
